About Dr. Shankar
Dr. Shankar has an experience of over 10 years in the field of surgery and over 5 years experience in the field of gastrointestinal surgery. He has learnt the art of laparoscopic surgery under the guidance of the visionary laparoscopic surgeon Prof C Palanivelu. He routinely performs basic to advanced laparoscopic surgeries for both benign as well as cancers afflicting the gastrointestinal, liver, pancreas and biliary system.
He has a keen interest in research and has several research articles to his credit published in reputed scientific journals. He has contributed to book chapters as well. He has also won several awards for scientific paper presentations in National and International conferences.
