- He is native to pondicherry and started his medical career at 2009 and obtained his Medical graduation (MBBS) in 2015 and even before completion of his internship, he cleared his NEET PG and got his passionate subject of General Surgery in the first appearance itself through his hard work.
- During M.B.B.S Achieved distinction in most of the undergraduate subjects. Have got first place in various inter and intracollege south zonal quiz competitions.
Followed by his post-graduation in MS General Surgery from Thanjavur medical college, where he has operated more than 500 cases. He was the Winner of the TN state level midascion quiz 2017 and the topper in his batch.
Then Dr.Sugumaran embarked his Super Speciality Journey from the countries premier institute for Gastrointestinal Surgery- G B pant hospital(GIPMER) New Delhi. He secured All India Rank -2 in his NEET superspeciality exams.

Experienced in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
