He completed his MBBS at Saveetha Medical College, Chennai, followed by an MS in General Surgery at MGMCRI, Pondicherry. He subsequently completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at GEM Hospital, Chennai. His additional qualifications and fellowships include FMAS, DMAS, FIAGES, EFIAGES, FAGIE, FALS in Robotics and FISCP in Proctology.
His professional experience includes working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery, an Assistant Professor and Senior Resident in General Surgery and a Medical Officer in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery at Kauvery Hospital.
