Dr K Reshma

Dr. K. Reshma is an Anaesthesiologist with an MD in Anaesthesiology and clinical experience in anaesthesia and perioperative care across multiple surgical specialities. She completed her MBBS at Government Dharmapuri Medical College and her MD at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute. During her postgraduate training, she gained exposure to surgical gastroenterology at GEM Hospital, surgical oncology at Adyar Cancer Institute and paediatric surgery at the Institute of Child Health.

Following her postgraduate studies, Dr. Reshma worked as a Senior Resident at Bhaarath Medical College and Hospital, where she managed cases involving critical obstetric emergencies, paediatric surgeries, vascular surgeries and surgical oncology. She currently continues her clinical practice in anaesthesia and critical care at GEM Hospital. Her approach emphasises patient safety, effective perioperative anaesthetic management, timely resuscitation, clear communication with patients and their families and collaborative decision-making with the healthcare team. She also has an interest in academic activities and medical education.
