Dr. M. Bharath Cumar is an experienced surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery, advanced hernia procedures and surgical gastroenterology, with over 10 years of experience. He serves as Deputy Medical Superintendent (Clinical) and has performed more than 2,000 hernia surgeries, with expertise in managing both simple and complex hernia conditions.

His clinical expertise also includes benign and cancer surgeries of the esophagus and stomach, as well as the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). He is also trained in robotic surgery and actively contributes to surgical education by training national and international delegates in advanced surgical techniques.
